Kiefer Sutherland has decided to cancel the US leg of his Love Will Bring You Home Tour due to very low ticket sales.
The 59-year-old actor and musician feels it would be unfair to fans to perform in half-empty venues on the tour, which was in support of his fourth studio album, Grey.
On Instagram, Kiefer expressed his disappointment, stating, "With great disappointment, I am going to have to cancel the US leg of my tour due to very low ticket sales. I don't think it's fair to the people who have bought tickets, or the venues, to play to half-empty houses."
Despite this setback, Kiefer remains optimistic about future performances in North America, saying, "I look forward to touring the United States again at a more suitable time."
Kiefer assured fans that refunds will be available from the point of purchase.
The European segment of the Love Will Bring You Home Tour concluded in Ittre, Belgium, on May 10.
Similarly, The Pussycat Dolls, a chart-topping girl group, had to cancel most of their North American tour dates due to poor ticket sales. They made this announcement on Instagram, explaining their decision and expressing gratitude to their fans for their support.
The Pussycat Dolls also confirmed that their UK and European tour dates will proceed as planned, with several shows already sold out.
For US fans, refunds will be issued automatically for tickets purchased through Ticketmaster or AXS in Nashville. Those who bought tickets from third-party resellers were advised to contact their point of purchase for refunds.
