Peabo Bryson, the Grammy-winning singer known for his legendary love songs, has passed away at the age of 75. A representative confirmed to Billboard that Bryson suffered a stroke over the weekend and was under medical care before his passing on Tuesday.
In a statement released by Bryson's family, they announced his peaceful transition surrounded by loved ones on the evening of June 2, 2026. Bryson was a two-time Grammy award winner with a career that spanned back to 1978. He was best known for his iconic duets such as Beauty and the Beast with Celine Dion and A Whole New World (Aladdin's Theme) with Regina Belle.
Bryson leaves behind his wife, Tanya Boniface, and their son Robert, along with his daughter Linda from a previous relationship and several grandchildren. Despite suffering a heart attack in April 2019, Bryson had made a full recovery at that time.
