Sam Smith and Christian Cowan are reportedly engaged after three years of dating.
The British singer-songwriter, who is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, and the fashion designer were first linked in December 2022.
And following the 2026 Met Gala in New York City on Monday night, editors at Page Six claimed Sam and Christian are set to wed. Insiders told the outlet that the Cartier yellow diamond bauble the Stay with Me hitmaker wore to the annual fashion bash was an engagement ring.
In addition, a source revealed that the couple was overheard talking about their relationship in the hotel lobby before the Met Gala.
“From what I understand, it was a private engagement,†they divulged. “They are over the moon, and from what I hear, so in love!â€
Representatives for Sam, 33, and Christian, 32, have not yet responded to the report.
“I have always loved (artist-designer) Erté. I love the way he brought costume art to the world through his visionary illustrations.
