BTS, the popular South Korean boy band, was awarded the prestigious title of Artist of the Year at the 2026 American Music Awards. Despite tough competition from artists like Bad Bunny, Harry Styles, Sabrina Carpenter, and Taylor Swift, BTS emerged victorious.
Members RM, Jin, Suga, J-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook made an appearance at the 2026 AMAs, marking their first awards show attendance in four years. RM expressed gratitude to the audience, stating, "Thank you. It’s an honor to receive this award once again after everybody's done their military service."
