Lainey Wilson is set to freeze her eggs as she feels “called to be a mamaâ€.
In the trailer for her upcoming Netflix documentary, Lainey Wilson: Keepin’ Country Cool, the country singer opened up about her plan to protect her fertility.
Reflecting on her desire to become a mother one day, Lainey notes, “sometimes the Lord just has other plans… I’m gonna freeze my eggs in April, put them babies on ice.â€
The footage, released on Wednesday, also depicts the star sitting in a hospital gown.
There is also a moment of her lying in a hospital bed with fiancé, Devlin ‘Duck’ Hodges.
“It is a whirlwind. The performer, the artist, the songwriter, the girl who’s going to shake everybody’s hand,†the 33-year-old muses. “I think it is important to show people that I don’t have my s**t all together. I am thankful for the life that I live. It’s about celebrating what we are given. It is a gift. This is all a gift. People keep saying country’s cool again. Well, I say it never stopped being cool. Lainey Wilson: Keepin’ Country Cool is set to drop on 22 April.

Lainey released her fifth studio album, Whirlwind, in 2024, and was on tour for much of the past year. She also made her movie debut in the romance drama, Reminders of Him, last month.
