Music News: Miley Cyrus To Receive iHeartRadio Innovator Award
Miley Cyrus is set to receive a prestigious prize at the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards.
Producers announced that the Innovator Award will be presented to the Flowers hitmaker during the ceremony at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on 26 March.
Every year, the Innovator Award goes to an artist who has had an impact on both music and global culture throughout their career.
âFrom her groundbreaking role 20 years ago in (TV series) Hannah Montana, a cultural phenomenon that continues to shape and inspire generations, to her evolution into one of the most fearless, dynamic and influential voices in music today, Mileyâs impact on pop culture is undeniable,â they praised. âBeyond her artistry, Mileyâs humanitarian work has made a profound impact. Through the Miley Cyrus Foundation, and the launch of Happy Hippie, she has been a powerful advocate for homeless and at-risk youth, especially teens facing housing insecurity.â
Miley, 33, has not yet commented on the announcement.
Additionally, Ludacris will be honored with the Landmark Award, which recognizes artists whose body of work has influenced culture across multiple decades.
The rapper-actor, also known as Christopher Bridges, will host the event.
âIâm excited to return as host of the iHeartRadio Music Awards to celebrate and perform alongside some of the best in the industry,â he exclaimed. âItâs going to be a night with special performances and surprise moments that fans are going to love.â
Alex Warren will also be recognized with the Breakthrough Artist of the Year Award and is scheduled to perform at the event.
