Janice Combs, the mother of convicted felon Sean Combs has slammed Netflix over claims in its documentary Sean Combs: The Reckoning.

The elder Combs released a formal statement to the streaming giant to “correct some of the lies” presented in the film that was released on December 2.

In an interview with Deadline, the octogenarian matriarch said “These inaccuracies regarding my son Sean’s upbringing and family life is intentionally done to mislead viewers and further harm our reputation.”

After attending the Manhattan courtroom hearings almost every day of her now incarcerated son’s two month-long summer trial for sex trafficking and RICO charges, the embattled musician’s mother insists her son’s nemesis, Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson produced a show that is pockmarked with lies.

Accusing Netflix for going “salacious to promote the series”, Janice focused on claims that her son once took out his rage on her, stating:

In a December 1 issued cease and desist letter from his attorneys, Combs called Reckoning a “hit piece”, claiming that 50 Cent’s participation was “corporate retaliation”.
