Planet Earth Season 3 is a very successful documentary on nature, which is produced by the BBC Natural History Unit. The first season of this nature documentary was presented by David Attenborough along with Sigourney Weaver. Two seasons of this documentary have been released, and now a total of 17 episodes have been released. The first season has 11 episodes, whereas there are six episodes in the second one, and now the third one is on its way.

David Attenborough is presented, whereas Hans Zimmer, Jacob Shea, and Sara Barone are the composers who have composed the documentary’s theme music.

The first season of Planet Earth started airing on 5 March 2006 and ended on 10 December 2006 and has released 11 episodes. On 6 November 2016, the second season started airing, and on 11 December 2016, it released its last episode, which has six episodes.

The third season, which is soon to be premiered in the USA, will have eight episodes and will be presented by David Attenborough. He presented the first and second shows of this documentary, which is based on nature, and he was accompanied by Sigourney Weaver, who helped him in presenting Planet Earth Season 1.
